Midweek wellness and rest with a Sound Bath featuring gongs, bowls and grounding frequencies log off. lie down. tune in. 🌀✨ midweek sound bath✨🌀 take an hour to step out of the week and into stillness. this midweek sound bath blends gongs, bowls, and therapeutic sounds to help soothe your spirit and relax your body & mind. no effort required—just rest. sound moves through the body, loosening stress, slowing thoughts, and creating space to reset. time gets blurry (in a good way). balance comes back online. facilitated by a p macarte, this immersive experience invites deep listening, altered states, emotional release, and a grounded sense of wellbeing. come rest come reset come realign where this midweek sound bath takes place at the warm and cosy todfellows community space, tucked into the heart of the magical town of todmorden. because capacity is limited, there will be two sessions this evening: • 5:30–6:30pm • 7:30–8:30pm please choose your time slot when booking. order tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. yoga mats are provided. feel free to bring extra layers—blankets, cushions, pillows—to make yourself comfortable while resting on the floor. wear relaxed clothing & bring a water bottle. please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in. doors close promptly at the session start time, with no late entry once the session begins. who alexander p macarte is a musician, dj, artist, and certified independent sound therapist. with over 20 years of experience as a global touring and recording artist, his practice has evolved into using sound as a form of transport—guiding listeners beyond the everyday and into deeper, more expansive states of awareness. sound is the medium. healing is the feeling. since completing intensive training with the british academy of sound therapy in 2019, alex has facilitated one-to-one sound therapy sessions, community & workplace sound relaxation sessions, and immersive sound baths at clubs and festivals across the uk and europe. his work has been featured with and commissioned by institutions and festivals including manchester international festival, nts radio, bloc london, whitworth gallery, v-a-c zatterre, and the venice biennale.
