We invite you to our festival of purposeful movement, slowness and connection outdoors in the South Pennines We invite you to Good Footing Gather - a festival of purposeful movement, slowness and connection outdoors in the South Pennines. We've curated a very special day for you to slow down, explore and enjoy movement and wholesome time spent with like-minded folk in natural surroundings. We've chosen The Horsefield in Slaithwaite as our basecamp to gather. Here you can choose from a host of activities and workshops, sit by the fire, chill out in the Snow Peak tent, listen to live music and feast on a special slow banquet made over fire by Chloe. Your ticket includes access to the full day including; Exclusive access to the Brand New Horsefield grounds, sauna & Yoga Sessions, As we arrive at the farm, we’ll slow down, explore the land and enjoy a guided tour of Burnt Hill Herb Co with Jon the owner before settling in for an evening of carefully curated food and wine. The nearest parking can be found at Slaithwaite Mills Carpark. However, there is other parking around the village of Slaithwaite. BY TRAIN The tranpennine train from Huddersfield, Manchester & Leeds stops at Slaithwaite station. The venue is a 15 minute walk. Head for the Handmade Bakery and walk past and into the car park in front of Iglu Sauna ans we'll pick you up. BY BUS There are various services that stop on Manchester Road and also come into the village. Please check bus times on the Metro website. WALKING You can walk to the site from either direction Marsden or Linthwaite on Manchester Road or better still the canal towpath. We can't wait to gather with you!
