Great Northern Section: Brewing Knowledge - Developing CPDs for the Future of the Brewery Industry

Through discussion and co-creation activities, attendees will share experiences, identify current and emerging skills gaps, and consider the challenges facing breweries across areas including brewing science and technology, sustainability, quality and safety, business development, innovation and workforce development. The session will also explore how breweries and Higher Education can work more closely together to develop practical, evidence-informed professional learning opportunities that respond to industry needs. By the end of the event, attendees will have contributed to shaping future CPD opportunities, explored potential areas for collaboration, and gained a clearer understanding of how partnerships between industry and Higher Education can support the brewery sector’s future skills and knowledge needs.
