KVLT & Folklore Tapes present: METAMORPHOSES

‘METAMORPHOSES’ is a new bespoke performance for The Globe, Glossop, from Folklore Tapes ---- Folklore Tapes Present ‘METAMORPHOSES’. Beyond their formidable & diverse discography of close to 100x releases across tape & vinyl, underground cottage industry stalwarts Folklore Tapes have carved out a uniquely focused handmade approach to live shows over 15 years…seamlessly blending experimental sonics and expanded phantasmagorical light magic…utilising modified analogue projectors, finessed torch puppetry, hand built instruments, dicta-phonic dalliances and ethereal voice. Following on from their most ambitious show to date; the reimagining of the short cult film The Watchers at Todmorden Hippodrome. ‘METAMORPHOSES’ is a new bespoke performance for The Globe, Glossop. Weaving together several supernatural tales from Glossop into a spellbinding spectacle of uncanny horror for a dark winters night. This show combines the collective talents of Sam McLoughlin, Vincent James, David Chatton Barker and Thorn Wych. ----
