KVLT presents: Kode9 (Hyperdub)

KVLT presents Hyperdub boss Kode9 20.00 - 01.00 --- Kode9 is a DJ/producer, sound artist and writer based in South London. He known for his sub-bass heavy sound, which over the last decade revolves around footwork, jungle and adjacent high speed mutations. He is founder of the labels Hyperdub and Flatlines, producer of 5 albums, 2 with the late Spaceape (Memories of the Future, 2006 and Black Sun 2012) and 3 solo (Nothing, 2015, Escapology 2022, Astro-Darien 2023), various DJ mix compilations, including DJ Kicks (2010), Fabric Live 100 in collaboration with Burial in 2018, and numerous singles and EPs over the last 25 years. He has remixed widely, from Lee Scratch Perry, Mr. Fingers through to MF Doom. His book Sonic Warfare was published in 2009 on MIT Press and his forthcoming book Notes on the Third Ear will be released in 2027.
