Last Thursday Club - Manchester

Last Thursday Club returns to Manchester for an evening of true storytelling, special guests and open mic spots. Welcome to the Last Thursday Club! A monthly evening of true storytelling, alternating between London and Manchester and usually taking place on, you guessed it, the last Thursday of the month. Created by acclaimed writer-performers Roann Hassani McCloskey and James Rowland. A gay Arab and a Viking-looking fella, both award-winning storytellers, invite you to an uplifting night celebrating one of the most human things we do: connecting through stories. What to expect An evening of brilliant, true storytelling, featuring guest storytellers and open mic spots for anyone ready to jump in and share a story of their own. Think: the warmth and joy of swapping stories with friends in your living room, but now there’s a mic, two excellent hosts and a slightly longer walk home at the end of the night. We’re back in Manchester Following a brilliant first night in the city, Last Thursday Club is returning to Grounded Café for another evening of warmth, honesty and unforgettable stories. Join us on Thursday 26 November from 7pm at Grounded MCR, Cringle Park Café, 71 Errwood Road, Manchester M19 2QH. Advance booking is encouraged as spaces are limited. Last Thursday Club is presented in association with Tamasha Theatre Company.
