Lego Club for Neurodivergent Young People

My:ND Space is specifically for the Neurodivergent community. Join us for our Youth Lego Club - all Lego provided. Ages 11 - 17 My:ND Space CIC is a supportive, peer led space for the Neurodivergent community. There is a distinct lack of long term peer support for Neurodivergent people, especially those of us who are consdiered to have 'low support needs'. Our sessions are for people who want to come together with other people like them. We make, create, build and just enjoy being around other people who 'get it.' In this session we will provide all the Lego kits and have tubs of random lego if you don't want to do a kit but are happy just building randomly. Chat amongst yourselves if you want to, or sit with headphones on if you don't want to listen to conversations. No pressure. Just come and build Lego with other neurodivergent young people. It's really chilled and so calming. All our sessions are led by Neurodivergent people - Simone is our Lego club facilitator and really experienced working with young people. This session is for ages 10 to 17. Soft drinks and snacks provided free of charge. We ask for a £5 ticket contribution for these events which helps towards our ever growing operational costs. Tickets can be refunded up to 7 days before the event - after this time we cannot process any refunds due to administration costs.
