Join us for a soul nourishing afternoon of YOGA and LIVE MUSIC honouring Samhain in the beautiful surroundings of St Clements Church. MAGIC * MANIFESTING * ENDINGS * BEGINNINGS Samhain is the most significant festival in the Celtic calendar - It honours the END of the yearly cycle, the point of death and marks the BEGINNING of Winter and dark half of the year too. It is a NEW YEAR! The journey through the Celtic Year starts here at SAMHAIN - it begins like all journeys – in the DARKNESS – the land lies dormant and it appears that nothing is happening...yet deep within seeds are germinating and gathering energy for their NEW journey ahead. With this dark phase of the year comes the opportunity for us to REST and REFLECT on what is ENDING or needs to be RELEASED And also conjure up NEW BEGINNINGS and DREAM the ideas that will become MANIFEST as the cycle continues. **Darkness is fertile with all potential. Look and find the seeds within yourself!** It is a deeply symbolic time of both death and rebirth – Samhain is about endings and beginnings, the relationship between them and the CYCLE OF LIFE that we are all in! At the same time as embracing this darkest phase of the year it’s important to BE THE LIGHT ourselves, to power up our own LIGHT to sustain ourselves through the darkness! (Diwali the festival of LIGHT– meaning a row of lights and signifying NEW BEGINNINGS is also around now) and from here we journey through the dark to Winter Solstice when the SUN is REBORN again! Samhain is a time rich in MAGIC and RITUAL when the veils are thinnest between worlds, it’s a time to honour our ancestors and a time when it is easier to connect with those that have gone before us. It is a magical time to come together in COMMUNITY and practice, chant, meditate and just be! The afternoon with a mix of Restful/Calming and Light Building practices includes:- *KUNDALINI KRIYAS to Release and De Stress *YOGA NIDRAS for Deepest Rest and Stillness *MANTRAS TO MANIFEST and bring more MAGIC into our lives!! *MEDITATIONS on endings and beginnings *PRANAYAMAS *DANCING/SHAKING PLUS *LIVE PERCUSSION and DRUMMING from Mat Pickles *PLANT BASED, HIGH VIBE SNACKS and HEALTH TONICS with herbal teas and fruit will be served in the break.
