This is a relaxed, community-focused hiking event designed to bring people together, enjoy nature, make new connections and raise money for charity ❤️ ABOUT THE EVENT • Social group hike – everyone welcome • Beginner to moderate-level hike • Suitable for those comfortable walking for several hours on uneven and hilly terrain • Open to all friendly and respectful participants • Limited tickets available • Non-profit event • All funds raised will go directly to charity • Any additional donation amount is welcome Whether you come alone or with friends, everyone is welcome! 🎟️ BRINGING FRIENDS & FAMILY For each ticket purchased, you are more than welcome to bring along your friends and/or family members. Please let us know beforehand how many additional people you will be bringing, so we can keep track of numbers and ensure the group remains manageable and enjoyable for everyone. 🥾 HIKE DETAILS 📍 Location: Three Shires Head, Peak District 📅 Date: Sunday 20th September 🕙 Start Time: 10:00am 🏁 Expected Finish: 2:00pm 🥾 Difficulty: Beginner to Moderate📏 Distance: Approximately 7–8km⏱️ Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours 📌 Meeting Point:https://maps.app.goo.gl/xM7eeqA8zzEo42REA?g_st=ic Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can meet everyone, go through a few quick details and begin the hike on time. ⛰️ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED This is a beginner to moderate hike, suitable for those who are comfortable with longer outdoor walks. You should be comfortable walking for approximately 3–4 hours, including uphill sections and uneven, muddy or rocky terrain. 🌿 ROUTE INFORMATION The route will take us through the beautiful Peak District countryside towards Three Shires Head, a scenic historic spot where the boundaries of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire meet. Expect a mixture of countryside paths, hills, uneven terrain, streams and rocky sections. The route may be muddy depending on weather conditions, so good walking shoes or hiking boots with suitable grip are essential. 🎒 WHAT TO BRING ✅ Hiking boots or suitable walking shoes with good grip ✅ Weather-appropriate clothing ✅ Waterproof jacket ✅ Plenty of water ✅ Snacks/lunch ✅ Personal medication if required ✅ Small backpack ✅ Optional walking poles ⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION • This is a social community event, not a professional hiking or guiding service. • Participants attend at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and fitness levels. • Participants should be comfortable walking for approximately 3–4 hours over beginner to moderate, hilly and uneven terrain. • Peak District weather can change quickly, so please come prepared. • Some sections may be muddy, rocky or uneven, particularly around streams and waterfalls. • Please respect nature, other walkers and the group atmosphere 🌿 ❤️ CHARITY DONATIONS This is a non-profit event, with funds raised going towards MATW Project.
