Full description from organizerShow less
A women-only mindset workshop exploring alcohol, habits, triggers, coping, social pressure and healthier ways to manage stress. Have you ever stopped to think about why we drink, why certain environments influence our choices, or why alcohol and drugs can sometimes become connected to confidence, socialising, stress or escaping how we feel? Join us for our next Amore Wellness Mindset Workshop, where we’ll explore our relationship with alcohol, drugs, coping habits and the environments around us in a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental women-only space. This workshop is about awareness and self-reflection — not labels or judgement. You do not need to identify as having a problem with alcohol or drugs to attend. You might simply be curious about your habits, thinking about drinking less, exploring sobriety, questioning certain social environments or wanting to understand yourself better. 🧠 WHAT WE’LL EXPLORE Throughout the session, we’ll look at topics including: 🧠 How habits form Why repeated behaviours can start to feel automatic and how our brains can connect certain people, places and emotions with particular behaviours. 🍷 Our relationship with alcohol Why drinking is so normalised within social environments and what role it can play in confidence, connection, stress relief and switching off. 🔄 Coping vs escaping Exploring the difference between working through difficult emotions and temporarily trying to avoid how we feel. ⚡ Understanding triggers Looking at how stress, loneliness, relationships, social situations and environments can influence our choices. 👭 Social pressure & belonging Why saying no can sometimes feel difficult and why changing your habits can affect your sense of belonging within certain friendship groups or environments. 🌱 Healthier coping strategies Exploring alternative ways to manage stress, regulate emotions, connect with people and create enjoyment. 💭 Identity & changing habits Why changing your lifestyle can sometimes feel uncomfortable or like you're losing part of your identity. ✨ Creating healthier boundaries Giving yourself space to reflect on what you want your own relationship with alcohol, substances and certain environments to look like. 💕 WHAT TO EXPECT 🌸 A warm and welcoming women-only environment 🧠 Guided mindset discussions 💗 Private reflection and journaling exercises 🤝 Optional small-group conversations 🌿 Activities to help recognise personal habits and triggers ✨ Practical tools you can take away with you 📝 Personal action planning ☕ Light refreshments included There will be opportunities to talk and connect with other women, but you will never be pressured to share personal experiences. You can participate at whatever level feels comfortable for you. 🌱 WHO IS THIS FOR? This workshop could be for you if you: 💕 Want to understand yourself and your habits better 🍷 Are becoming more conscious of your drinking 🌱 Are exploring sobriety or reducing alcohol 🧠 Want to understand why certain behaviours become coping mechanisms 👭 Find social pressure difficult 🔄 Want healthier ways to manage difficult emotions or stress ✨ Are trying to create healthier habits and environments 💭 Simply want to learn more about mindset and behaviour You do not have to be sober to attend. You also don't need to consider yourself someone who has an alcohol or drug problem. This is a space to learn, reflect and build awareness. ⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ This is an Amore Wellness mindset awareness workshop. It is not a professionally led drug or alcohol support group, counselling session, therapy session, medical service or substance misuse treatment programme. The purpose of the workshop is to encourage: 🧠 Self-awareness 💭 Reflection 🌱 Healthier habits 💕 Connection ✨ Conversations around wellbeing and mindset We will not diagnose, treat or provide professional advice around addiction or substance dependence. If you feel you need professional support with your alcohol or drug use, we encourage you to access an appropriate specialist service alongside community wellbeing spaces like Amore Wellness. Our role is to provide a safe community space for awareness, education, reflection and connection — not to replace professional support. 💷 £4 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT To secure your space, we ask for a £4 refundable deposit. This helps us reduce no-shows and make sure spaces go to women who genuinely want to attend. Your £4 will be refunded after you attend the workshop, or you can choose to leave it as a donation towards Amore Wellness and helping us continue creating affordable wellbeing activities for women. Spaces are limited to 12 women, so please only book if you are able to attend. 📸 PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO Please be aware that photos and short videos may be taken during this event for Amore Wellness social media, website and promotional content. We always want everyone attending our events to feel comfortable. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let a member of the Amore Wellness team know when you arrive. We will make sure this is respected throughout the event. You are always welcome to take part in the event without appearing in any photos or videos. By booking, you acknowledge that photography and filming may take place during the session, but you can opt out of being included at any time. 💕 COMING ALONE? Please don't let coming alone stop you. A huge part of Amore Wellness is creating spaces where women can walk into a room without already knowing somebody and still feel welcome. Lots of women attend our workshops and events by themselves for the first time. We'll welcome everyone when you arrive and create opportunities for connection throughout the evening. Come alone, learn something about yourself and hopefully leave feeling a little more connected. 🤍 AMORE WELLNESS Ladies only | 18+ At Amore Wellness, our aim is to create supportive spaces where women can move, connect, learn and grow together. Sometimes changing a habit doesn't begin with forcing yourself to stop. Sometimes it begins with understanding why it became a habit in the first place. No judgement. No labels.
