Singing in the dark times: a winter poetry workshop at Tegg's Nose

Jo Bell leads a winter poetry session. Bring themes of weathering, hearthside life and dormant nature to your poetry writing. Acclaimed poet Jo Bell (author of 52 and co-author of How to Be a Poet) leads a seasonal writing session in the gallery at Tegg's Nose Country Park, on the western edge of the Peak District. We use winter as a starting point to explore ideas of weathering, endurance and cold places, as well as pleasures of the hearth and outdoor play; use new prompts and readings to renew your practice and surprise yourself, as well as the reader. Exercises, poems and discussion to stretch you creatively and generate the best new poetry. See you there! This is the last of four seasonal workshops: those who book this one will get a 10% discount on other sessions in the series. Members of my subscription The Poetic Licence get 25% off all four.
