wonky wobbly weirdos get bendy together or a bit of yoga fun fun practice, not a contest, bit of a giggle. saturday morning practice! this month: slowing down for the end of the year led by scottee, a 400 hour yoga teacher with 10 years experience in community arts and social justice practice under his belt. super informal, 100% beginner friendly. never been to a wonkee practice before? we are a gaggle of wobbly and wonderful weirdos. we know it can feel a bit scary, but wonkee's aim to encourage a less competitive, more chill way of practicing yoga. headlines: • 10am-12pm • slow flow (hands and knees) • yin (holding shapes for longer) • break for tea and chocolate • restorative practice access: • sliding scale to make it a bit more accessible • the studio is based on the 2nd Floor, there is currently no lift in the building • there is no BSL interpretation planned for these sessions - if you are HoH or a hearing aid user and would like to reserve a mat closer to Scottee get in touch • this practice requires the ability to move from the floor to standing a fair few times • matts, cushions, blocks and blankets are provided to help make practicing as comfortable as possible • i will not be touching your body or telling you how to move, all cues are verbal • you can watch, listen and observe • i encourage you to take up space, take rest when needed, tic, stim or take 5 from the room as you need If you have any requests, worries, access statements or declarations you’d like to make - drop me a line!
