Join us for this unique opportunity to connect with like-minded women and learn from a remarkable business leader. A Seat At The Table exists to help more women step into leadership across the Tees Valley by making space, opening doors and creating real opportunities to lead. These events are designed to educate, inspire and connect women who want to take action and create change where it matters most. Your Host We’re delighted to welcome Dr Laura Sillars, Director of MIMA (Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art) and Dean of Culture & Creativity at Teesside University, to our ASSIST Women’s Network Leaders Lunch. Laura’s career has taken her from leading cultural projects in the North East to working with some of the UK’s most influential arts organisations, including Tate Liverpool and FACT, as well as internationally in cities such as Detroit and Sheffield. As a leader working at the intersection of arts, education and community, Laura brings a wealth of experience in building partnerships, championing creativity and creating opportunities for people and places to thrive. Join us for an inspiring and informal lunch as Laura shares insights from her leadership journey, the experiences that have shaped her career, and what it takes to lead, influence and make a difference. There’ll be an opportunity to hear her story, ask questions and connect with other women who are passionate about developing their own leadership journeys. Come along, be inspired and leave with fresh perspectives, new connections and ideas to take forward in your own career. This is a unique opportunity to learn how to: • Build influence and credibility in traditional, professional sectors • Turn expertise into meaningful impact beyond your individual career • Lead with confidence, clarity, and authenticity while supporting the next generation of women in business How do I know it’s for me?
