Solar Printing Workshop: An Afternoon of Nature & Creativity

Join me for hands-on afternoon exploring solar printing a process that uses sunlight to create unique prints from natural materials. Weather dependant - we will begin with a walk outdoors, gathering leaves, flowers, and found textures to use as inspiration. If the weather is not on our side I will pre collect resources for us to use. Then, you’ll be guided through the solar printing process to create your bery own one of a kind designs. You’ll experiment with layering natural forms and stencils, then watch as your pieces develop under UV light revealing unexpected patterns and organic prints from your foraged materials. To finish, you’ll transform your printed fabric into a final outcome of a wall hanging for you to take home with you.
