Gong Baths | Bedford | Church of the Transfiguration, Kempston, Bedford, MK42 8BQ Join us on Saturday 7th November for an afternoon Immersive Gong Bath at the Church of the Transfiguration (adjoining hall) in Kempston, Bedford Experience the powerful resonance and vibration of a multi-gong setup, carefully curated and designed to create a deeply immersive sound experience, supporting relaxation, stillness and reconnection. The natural acoustics of the church hall allow layers of sound and harmonic textures to fully unfold throughout the space, creating an environment for rest and reflection. This is an immersive gong bath experience crafted to encourage you to slow down, settle into stillness and experience sound in a different way. Date: Saturday 7 November 2026 Time: Doors open at 3.00 pm, the Gong Bath starts at 3.15 pm, and finishes 4.15 pm, with time for quiet integration and grounding at the end. Ticket price: £22 per person, plus Eventbrite booking fee. On the day Yoga Mats to lie on will be provided, although you’re welcome to bring your own for extra comfort. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for lying down. Please bring: A pillow or cushion for support. A blanket Water to drink afterwards. Please note: The sessions are pre-book only The events are primarily for adults aged 18 and over. Those aged 16-17 may attend when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event will take place in the spacious adjoining main hall of the Church. A gong bath may not be for you if you are pregnant and in your first or last trimester, hjave a pacemaker or metal cochlear implants, experience epilepsy or other types of seizures, have a sound-sensitive condition such as tinnitus, labyrinthitis or Meniere's disease. If you have any concerns about whether the experience is suitable for you, please consult your GP before booking. The gong baths at The Church of Transfiguration are hosted and facilitated by Shon Ross of Inneflow. He holds a Diploma in Sound Therapy with Distinction and has been trained in the methods of Gong Grand Master Don Conreaux, who is credited with holding the first ever official Sound Bath in San Francisco in 1975.
