In this practical workshop, you will be given the tools to introduce symbols at home in an informed and confident way. This workshop will provide you with information about using symbols as a form of AAC and practical, evidence-based advice and strategies for modelling language using symbols at home. Work with the therapist to identify different levels of symbol use and work out what is right for your child at this time to support them. Lets make symbols consistent, functional and fun!
