Introduction to Patisserie by Pink Lane Bakery

Join us for a Pink Lane bakery adventure, where you'll learn the art of creating delicate and delicious treats from scratch. Have you been wanting to dig deeper into sweet baking? Master some skills to make beautiful cakes, tarts and more at home? Our skilled pastry chefs will lead this Introduction to Patisserie, taking you from the basics of sweet pastry through filling and finishing a range of beautiful bakes to take home. This full day, hands on baking course will be taught at our fully kitted out training workshop in Baker’s Yard, just 10 minutes from Gosforth High Street. You’ll learn a range of pastry techniques to make tartlets, layered cakes and more. There’ll be lots of time for you to get stuck into making, alongside some demonstration from our pastry chefs and lots of discussion and questions. You’ll be emailed a full programme by email a week before your course. We’ll provide tea, coffee and pastries on arrival and a lovely salad and sandwich lunch to enjoy alongside some of your first creations. You’ll go home with everything you’ve made, a goodie bag of recipes and more as well as the confidence and experience to bring to your baking at home. Looking forward to baking with you!
