The Welcome Kitchen Christmas FUNdraiser

Join us in person for The Welcome Kitchen FUNdraiser; good food, good company, and a great cause! The Welcome Kitchen Christmas Fundraiser Good food, good company and a very good cause! Come and join us on Saturday 5th December at The Big Local for a lovely evening of food, fun and fundraising, all in support of The Welcome Kitchen. We've got a little bit of everything planned for the evening, including a welcome drink, wine tasting, a fun flavour masterclass (are you a super taster?), a light supper and a raffle! We'll also be celebrating the launch of Steve Beveridge's new book about the old police station in Whitley Bay. Steve has very kindly pledged all profits from the book to The Welcome Kitchen. And once all that's done, we'll pop on some music and, for anyone who fancies it, finish the evening with a little 80s boogie! Get dressed up, it's Christmas after all! The Welcome Kitchen is a wonderful community organisation providing a free, home-cooked meal once a month, helping to tackle hunger and isolation at the coast. Because good food, good company and a little kindness should be available to everyone. All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting this fantastic local cause.
