NHPS Reception 2027 School Viewing - Session 3

Come and see our school and Reception classes in action. A relaxed tour for families thinking about a September 2027 start. NHPS Reception 2027 Prospective Parent School Viewing - Session 1 We'd love to show you around Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School. Our open sessions run during the school day, so you'll see Reception and the rest of schoolas it really is. Have a look at the classrooms and our outdoor learning space, meet the team who'll be teaching your child, and ask us anything you like. No need to prepare anything, just sign up and come for a visit. A bit about our Reception: • We follow the EYFS framework, with hands on, child-led learning indoors and out • A new theme every week, built around what the children are interested in, from dinosaurs and space to nature and fairy tales • Weekly cooking, Forest School, Dough Gym, music, art, PE and daily outdoor play • A free hot lunch every day through Universal Infant Free School Meals • Tapestry, our online learning journal, so you can see how your child's getting on • 60 Reception places each year. Children start in the academic year they turn five We were inspected in February 2026 and judged to be meeting the Strong Standard in all areas. One thing worth knowing: applications for a Reception place must go through West Northamptonshire Council rather than directly with the school. We're very happy to talk you through it when you visit. I look forward to welcoming you to share our wonderful school! Joseph Fulford Headteacher
