Come hang out and share your voice at a relaxed community, alcohol-free open mic night where everyone's welcome! Bring food and instruments 🎶 Sober Open Mic at Cowslip Meadows, Lutterworth 🎶 📅 Friday 28th November, 1:30pm (arrival) to 6pm Join us for an afternoon and evening of music, voice and community at Cowslip Meadows, hosted by Macaulay Ainge and friends. This alcohol-free gathering is a space to sing, play, dance and connect, with nothing needed but your presence (and perhaps an instrument) ✨ Think of this as a community event rather than a serious occasion. Let's come together to share our talents, skills, wisdom and love, and support one another through the change of seasons with nourishing connection. There's space here for play and authenticity 🍂 🕉️ Kirtan & Voice Activation: We open with a ceremony of mantra sounds and techniques to warm up the voice and open the heart, followed by songs shared to nourish the soul. 🥁 Live Music Jam: Drums, piano, guitars, bass and open mics for all of us to come together and share our music in a creative space. Bring an instrument of your own! 🎸 🔥 Fire & Sharing: Gather around the outdoor fire. Bring snacks to share, fruit (and maybe some sweet treats 🍓) 🔥 Sauna: available as additional fee of £12.50 pp 🪩 DJ & Dance: The evening moves into dance, with a range of DJs covering organica, tribal house and more. Featuring Candy Dupree 💃 💛 This is a non-profit community gathering, presented by Root & Rise Community CIC and Macaulay Ainge Yoga. Entry is pay what you can, with a suggested contribution of £15. All contributions go towards covering the venue costs and sustaining this event through the winter months. Children are welcome. 🌿 A bit about me My intention for this space is to bring people together so we can support, uplift and hold one another, and share intelligence, wisdom, spirituality, creativity, joy and passion. The aim is to sustain this event throughout the winter, so that during the cold months we still have somewhere warm to gather and feel connected. Your contribution is what makes that possible 🙏
