Large Willow Christmas Star at Bawburgh Village Hall

Spend an afternoon with the Coddiwomplers making a large willow star. This Christmas, join the Coddiwomplers for a festive willow-weaving workshop in Bawburgh Village Hall near Norwich. With guidance from two experienced basket makers, you’ll learn some of the basic skills and techniques of willow weaving while creating a beautiful Christmas decoration for your home. In this workshop, you’ll create a 1m-wide willow star using the ‘wild weave’ technique. The finished star will make a stunning feature on a wall or hanging outside, and you can even add lights for some extra festive sparkle. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners, so no previous experience is necessary. However, as willow weaving is a hands-on craft, a reasonable level of hand strength and manual dexterity is required. All tools and materials will be provided as well as teas, coffees, mincepies and Mr F's legendary jokes.
