Nature pop-up paper workshop with Sue Welfare

Bring paper to life - learn pop-up art, craft miniature worlds, and turn everyday materials into imaginative creations. Whether you’re looking to create unique cards, miniature books, or stand-alone projects, this workshop will introduce you to simple pop-up mechanisms that can be transformed into your own exquisite miniature worlds. During the workshop, you’ll have the chance to: Learn the basics of pop-up mechanisms, create your own designs using drawing, painting, or collage techniques, experiment with repurposed materials like children’s books, greeting cards, magazines, and catalogues. There will be plenty of materials, including paper, glue, watercolours, and basic cutting tools, as well as a collection of collage supplies to inspire your creativity. Feel free to bring along your own paints, drawing materials, or collage resources if you have something special in mind. What to bring: • Any old books, cards or images you'd like to incorporate into your designs • An apron to protect your clothing· Join us for a relaxing and inspiring day making your own beautifully crafted pop-up creations.
