Wildlife Watch - Pony checks (Family event)

Join the warden on this children's Wildlife Watch event and learn all about the ponies that live on site and how they help conservation. Our ponies play an important role in managing many of our reserves. While they are not pets, they still need regular monitoring and care. Join the warden as we track down the ponies to complete a simple health check together and learn about their behaviour, habitat and why they are special members of our conservation team. Please note that this is a children's event and each family group must have at least one adult attending. Adults do not need to book a ticket - one accompanying adult per paying child is free of charge but any additional adults who are non-members will need to pay the nature reserve entry fee at the visitor centre, on the day (£5 standard entry/£5.50 with Gift Aid). Accessibility We want our events, and nature itself, to be accessible to everyone. If you have specific needs or requirements, please get in touch at [email protected] so we can support you wherever possible. Please be aware that the natural terrain and access conditions may limit what we are able to provide on site.
