Look intelligent. Feel Squiffy. A book club for people that want to feel both sophisticated and inebriated. We laugh, sometimes even chortle, at one another's witty observances. 'Hmm, quite', we say whilst nodding at another fellow's sharp critiques . Can you chortle? Can you say 'hmm, quite'? If so, come join us. This month we're reading The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break by Steven Sherill. £13 ticket includes next month's book and a drink.
