Hosted by Martin Howlett, this exciting event offers a first-hand look at pioneering climate-resilient, nature-friendly farming and the journey of food from plough to plate, including the challenges the farming community faces in delivering nutritious and sustainable food. What you will discover: Nature-Led Agriculture: See how traditional suckler beef cattle, continental sheep, and majestic Highland cattle play a critical role in managing and enriching the local ecosystem. Pioneering Climate Resilience: Learn about practical, soil-first techniques used to reach Net Zero emissions, including the use of deep-rooting spring beans and renewable Miscanthus crops. Slowing the Flow: Walk the landscape to see how natural flood management and "slow the flow" interventions are successfully preventing local flash flooding.
