A group of young and talented musicians that have formed through Tavistock Youth Cafe's 'Zephyr Music Project'. With a shared passion of rock music from various decades, the band will take you on a rock journey playing covers and originals! Followed by Anairda; a Latin American singer-songwriter and activist based in Plymouth, known for her strong vocals and heartfelt performances. Anairda blends uplifting world folk-rock with Latin influences. Her multilingual and progressive lyrics have been described as “inspiring, fiery and deeply radical”. She will be playing with Raphaelle Ahmad on cajon and Charlie Carr on bass. To finish the evening, we have a Global Rhythms DJ set. Get ready for an unforgettable sonic journey; bringing you two hours of pure global rhythm with two exceptional world music DJs. Experience a masterful blend of roots reggae, Afro funk, Afro Cuban, South African house, Bhangra, and samba—all curated via both classic vinyl and cutting-edge digital tracks. DJ Bop Mali Driven by an unmatched passion for global sounds, Bop Mali bridges the gap between traditional rhythms and modern beats. DJ Mikey Good A true vinyl connoisseur, bringing the warmth and crackle of classic records to the Tavistock stage.
