Introduction to Autodesk Fusion 360

This four week short course is designed for participants who would like an introduction to Autodesk Fusion 360 software. Hosted by Fab Lab South West, over four evening sessions, this course will take place in our purpose built CAD Lab. Dates & Times Tuesday 6 October 2026, 5.30pm - 8pm Tuesday 13 October 2026, 5.30pm - 8pm Tuesday 20 October 2026, 5.30pm - 8pm Tuesday 27 October 2026 , 5.30pm - 8pm This course will cover: • Understanding of the software interface and cloud storage, • Basic sketching and solid modelling, • Form modelling, • Basic rendering. In order to take part in this course, good computer literacy is essential. Participants will need to sign up to an Autodesk user account independently before the course takes place. A member of the Fab Lab South West Team will contact participants and provide instructions on how to sign up at least one week before the course start date. On completion of this course, participants will be eligible to apply for our Intermediate Autodesk Fusion 360 course. After you have successfully paid for the course, you will be sent a separate registration form where you will be able to tell us about any access requirements you have.
