TESTIMONIALS: What Previous Attendees Are Saying: A heartfelt thank you to Wale for a hugely helpful, insightful and informative course. I was hoping for answers, clarity and hope and I struck gold. Louisa M. Student Counsellor I really enjoy Wale's presentation and demeanour, he maintains the common touch but competently utilises and explains the neuroscience and subject matter proficiently with a clear intention to share knowledge - and not (as I've seen some tutors do) to congratulate themselves. Daniel S., Counsellor Great course. It helped me understand how and why I may have felt about two traumatic experiences in my own life. Khalie B., Yoga Leader, Coach & Healer, It was an amazing workshop jam-packed with information and a useful framework. Janine S CPTSD is an area of particular interest for me. The training today has greatly increased my knowledge and the section that discussed the brain and neuroplasticity was fantastic. It has also confirmed what I already suspected that this is at the root of many clients’ issues and in fact everyone carries with them some trauma to varying degrees. The healing techniques from today can be applied when working with all clients. Really wonderful training from Wale as always. Patricia B., Psychotherapist Brilliant delivery of the course in an easy to understand format. The workshop helped me to get a better understanding of the effect trauma can have on the brain and how to treat this. Amanda P. Trainee Counsellor Very, very good, the lecturer’s delivery was wonderful, simultaneously calm and easy yet also highly informed and informative. Penelope J., Counsellor There was so much useful information here and I’m glad I took the course. Would easily recommend to professionals and survivors alike as it is accessible but still pushes knowledge and understanding. Very clear and engaging, good pace and good sense of humour. Michelle J., Trainee Counsellor "Today’s course “Treating Complex Post –Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) was an in depth learning experience delivered in a friendly way. The A.S.I.E.C.C framework for healing and practical tips included were so helpful for anyone working with patients or in a caring environment or anyone wanting to understand their own personal journey to recovery from trauma." Gretsky C., Dental Hygienist and Sports Massage Therapist "Loved it! This is my second MindBody Breakthrough event. Wale is a great speaker who makes you feel welcome. His knowledge and experience is second to none and I look forward to revisiting the content of the course to use with clients." Heather S., CBT and Emotional Therapeutic Counsellor "I attended the all day webinar yesterday. I found it really helpful. There was a lot of neurobiology and neuro-chemistry which I really appreciated, that was what I was looking for. There is a lot to digest but I look forward to reflecting on the power point and my notes in due course. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems and hope to do training in sensorimotor psychotherapy and found yesterday's presentation helpful in consolidating my belief in bringing in the somatic. Anyway, thank you for your engaging and knowledgeable teaching." Paula H. "Another fantastic course. Your presentation is so detailed, informative, and patient. I value the amount of energy you give, and the resources that you offer are so appreciated." Elizabeth F. Sufferer "Thank you for your brilliant workshop – it has certainly given me some new ways of working and reassured me that I have been correct in staying with trying to stabilize clients before moving into the ‘trauma’." Kate R. Children and Young Person’s Counsellor "Thank you for an excellent, interesting and informative workshop which was professionally and warmly delivered." Jacqueline A. Counsellor "Thank you so much for such an excellent, informative and useful online course today. I’ve learnt LOADS!!! :-)" Sarah C. "Thank you for your informative and insightful compact course, I have done many workshop on the Mind_Body connection, but yours is one of the best so far." Melissa S. Integrative Counsellor “The course was excellent and well presented. It covered a lot of useful material and has enhanced my ability to identify and work with clients with CPTSD. Usually I would not have been able to attend because the venue is outside London, but because it was online I could. Siata M., Integrative Counsellor “Lovely webinar! Thank you so much! I learnt a lot from the comfort of my own home and it was actually lovely being able to get up and move to stretch and still listen actively and not get judged for getting up!” Alex A., Senior Physiotherapist “An enormous thank you for providing such an interesting and informative day on CPTSD. Having previously attended one of your excellent courses I was delighted I could continue my studies from the comfort of my own home. In many ways I preferred it because of the convenience. I am looking forward to attending your next course on OCD as well.” Hazel J., Trainee Therapist “Thank you for a great webinar. As a practicing counsellor you have built my knowledge on how to assess where a client is in their C-PTSD journey. I feel able to keep myself safe with an understanding of their process and how to support the client on their healing journey.” Sebastian H., Counsellor "It was an amazing experience today.
