2pm Lower Winchester Guided Walking Tour

A tour of 1½ hours visiting some important historical sites of lower Winchester with one of our friendly and informative tour guides. Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. The tour visits Abbey Gardens before passing the City Mill and following the River Itchen to College Street. It then explores Wolvesey Castle and continues along College Street passing Winchester College and 8 College Street to finish in the Cathedral Close. Adult tickets are £12 and can be booked online or purchased on the day from the Visitor Information Centre subject to availability. Accompanied children under 16 are free. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The tour will take place in rain or shine so please dress appropriately and wear sensible footwear.
