CASTLE - Kola Basement - Portsmouth - 28.02.27

Heavy/Doom band Castle from America/Canada comes to Portsmouth! Castle's first time in the UK since 2015! Age restriction: 14+, 14-17s to be accompanied by an adult. True Steel promotions is proud to present US/Canadian heavy doom outfit CASTLE at Kola Basement! Castle have just announced their new album “Carrie Chains” and are embarking on a huge tour in support of this! The album sees CASTLE refining their riff-driven sound, drawing from classic heavy metal influences while pushing their songcraft into more anthemic territory. Castle are at new heights of constructing their trademark serpentine riffs into powerful anthemic hooks while the whiskey throated vocals of powerhouse singer Liz Blackwell fill every spooky nook and cranny to intoxicating effect. Taking influence from the 70s/80s riff-heavy maestros like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Mercyful Fate and keeping a stripped down attack sound, Castle channel that classic heavy-metal DNA into something leaner, meaner, and unmistakably their own.
