Pre-booked tours are available on the following Wednesdays • July - 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 • August - 5, 12, 19, 26 • September - 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 • October - 7, 14, 21 • February - 24 • March - 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 Tours at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm Duration: 50 minutes Capacity: 20 people per tour Suitable for ages 12+ £5 per person Accessibility • Unfortunately the tour area is not accessible. • The tour involves changes in surfaces, low light levels, use of spiral staircases, steps, walking through the tunnel and the requirement to follow marked pathways. • The tour route is considered as suitable for all ages, with content designed for a recommended age of 12 years and above. • Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. • Fort Nelson is a scheduled ancient monument and contains areas of uneven ground. Please wear sensible footwear, take extra care in poor weather. Do not climb on the banks – there are steep drops, and ground may contain sharp stones.
