Come along and discover some of the city’s newest and most exciting performers as they take to the stage for an intimate night of live music. Whether you’re here to support emerging artists or simply enjoy a relaxed evening with friends, Gig Night at GHT is the perfect place to settle in, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy some great live performances. Expect a mix of sounds and styles as a number of emerging bands take to the stage. Grab a drink, get comfortable, and join us as we give some of the city’s rising talent a platform to be heard. Everyone is welcome About Gig Night Gig Night is a grass-roots youth music project started in Southampton. Gig Night provides a platform for young people between 7 - 13 years old to create or join a band, perform as a solo artist, learn song-writing techniques and develop other skills required to deliver a live performance. Exhibitions When you’re not listening to the bands, take the opportunity to explore God’s House Tower after hours. You’ll have exclusive access to our permanent exhibition, The Stories Behind the Stones. Soak in the history and take in the rooftop views of Southampton's Old Town. In the gallery, we'll have our newest exhibtion, Ripe Blueberries, showcasing the work of 12 graduate artists navigating their first few months out of university, a part of our six week progamme of exhibtions from emerging artists in Southampton, FRUITFUL. Tickets Tickets cost £5 in advance or on the door. Accessibility The ground-floor bar and café at GHT have step-free access from Town Quay Road. The The Stories Behind the Stones exhibition is in the tower which isn’t fully accessible.
