Godly play taster day

Children have an innate sense of the presence of God, how can we help them to develop their spirituality? Children have an innate sense of the presence of God, how can we help them to develop their spirituality? One way could be through participating in Godly Play. Godly Play UK is a Christian movement centred on childhood spirituality. It is a way of telling stories, making sacred space for questions about the meaning and purpose of life, giving time to wonder, to explore and develop an understanding of God. Godly play can be used in churches, in schools and in the community. We are joining with Chichester Diocese to run a Godly Play ‘taster’ day on Saturday 13th March, 2027. This will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Bosham from 10am until 3pm. Those interested should bring a packed lunch – tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits will be provided. There is disabled parking nearby and access to the church but the teaching rooms have steps to enter and no disabled access. There will be a small charge of £10pp for the course. If you would like to more information, please contact Jill Phipps on [email protected] or 07842 636746. To read more, about Godly Play UK, visit their website: https://www.godlyplay.uk/about-us/.
