Riverside Concert Band for Canine Partners

An afternoon of music to support a good cause. Come and join Riverside Concert Band for an afternoon of music in aid of Canine Partners on Saturday 10th October. The concert is an opportunity to hear rock, pop and music from the stage screen performed by a range of wind instruments from flutes to tubas and everything in between while supporting a charity that means a lot to the Riverside Concert Band. Jenni plays the flute with the band and is often accompanied by her Canine Partner, Rain. Jenni has severe rheumatoid arthritis alongside a variety of other autoimmune conditions and Rain supports Jenni to live her life independently. Jenni describes Rain: "Her personality is bold, confident and inquisitve. Shes loves a spalsh about and she is my sunshine and my joy everyday" Canine Partners carefully match people with a variety of physcial disabilities with expertly trained assistance dogs, creating loving, life-changing partnerships. All proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Canine Partners and there will be refreshements and a raffle at the concert. Doors open at 3.30pm and there will be a 30 minute interval.
