A Deadly Dance

Mark Billingham interviewed by Luca Veste Blackpool: home of ballroom dancing, bright lights... and murder. Bestselling crime writer Mark Billingham returns with The Shadow Step, the third outing for his unforgettable detective DS Declan Miller – a grieving widower with a sharp sense of humour, a passion for ballroom dancing, and an uncanny knack for stumbling into the strangest of cases. Before becoming one of Britain's most successful crime novelists, Billingham was an actor and stand-up comedian, appearing in everything from Maid Marian and Her Merry Men to The Bill. His internationally bestselling Tom Thorne novels were adapted for television by Sky, starring David Morrissey. His dancing partner is the acclaimed crime writer Luca Veste, whose Liverpool-set Murphy and Rossi series has won legions of fans. With a background in psychology and criminology, Luca is the perfect partner to probe the minds of killers, detectives and the man who created them.
