Screen Print Your Christmas Cards

Come and get creative designing and printing your own unique Christmas cards! The Course Design & Print Your Own Christmas Cards Come and join me at my Nunburnholme design studio for a festive printing event where you can unleash your creativity! Design and print your very own Christmas cards through the medium of screen printing. This is a fun opportunity to make personalised stationery for your loved ones! Screen printing is the process whereby ink is pushed through a fine silk mesh stretched over a screen. A squeegee is used to push the ink through the 'open' areas of the screen depositing an even layer of ink on to the fabric or paper below. Many colours/layers can be printed and multiple copies can be printed. In this introductory workshop Alison will use her 20 plus years of experience designing cards to guide you through creating your own design or pattern, cutting the design out of a paper stencil, choosing and mixing your colour and then printing your design using a squeegee and screen on to paper and card. Who is the course is suitable for? Whether you're a seasoned designer or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for all skill levels.
