Alder x SMC Presents: PVC live w/ Tradwife / April Tapes

Alder and Scottish Music Collective are proud to announce PVC 2026 tour date for Sheffield w/ support from the local Tradwife & April Tapes Alder x SMC Presents: PVC Live w/ Support from Tradwife & April Tapes PVC are a Glasgow based 5 piece making their Alder debut. I'd say it's 90s grunge with post-punk and gothic influences. Fronted by Cara's distinctive vocals, the band have built a following on Glasgow's scene, with energetic live performances and an appearance at HOUSEGUEST Festival 2026. With numerous sold out shows under their belt, appearences on BBC Introducing, Off The Record and Wide Days Sheffield's Tradwife return to Alder's satage with their energetic & unpredictable live show. They've played before and took the roof off. The sound engineer asked "please book these again and please book me for it" which never happens lol. Described as 'post-Brexit flamenco doom punks', the band bring a unconventional but distinctive approach to punk. Hailing from Sheffield and Chesterfield, April Tapes are a four-piece alt-rock band combining lo-fi, melodic guitar and mixed male-female vocals. A strong DIY approach to songwriting, the band have made appearances at Tramlines, Y Not Festival and Truck Festival, and also Alder multiple times.
