Kim works predominantly with paper, exploring its creative possibilities through artist’s books, sculptural forms, printmaking, papercutting and illustration. Her artist’s books often incorporate inventive folding techniques, transforming flat sheets into intricate three-dimensional structures. Inspired by everyday life, human nature and conversations, Kim creates playful and detailed work that invites closer inspection. Alongside her own artistic practice, she runs creative workshops for all ages, both from her studio in Sheffield and venues across the surrounding area.
