Curator Tour: Good Morning – A Day in Art

Join Exhibition Curator Katie Irwin for a tour of the latest exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, Good Morning: A Day in Art. Painters Chantal Joffe and Ishbel Myerscough have shared a close friendship and artistic dialogue for decades. While distinct in style, their work is united in its exploration of family, friendship and the everyday. Good Morning sees them trace the unfolding of a single day through the eyes of more than 80 artists. Presenting their own deeply personal paintings and drawings alongside works from Sheffield’s collection by William Blake, Prunella Clough, Paul Gauguin, David Hockney, Claudette Johnson and more, Joffe and Myerscough celebrate the quiet significance of ordinary experience. In this tour find out more about the themes of the exhibition and some of the key works on display. This is the listing for the 11am tour. If you'd like tickets for the 2pm tour, please click here.
