An 11 day ski tour and sail through Artic Norway's remote Finnmark region by Callum Hargrove In April 2025, four Imperial College London students spent 11 days ski touring and sailing through Arctic Norway's remote Finnmark region, living aboard the yacht Moondance. Covering over 100km and 9,000m of ascent through largely undocumented terrain, the team was forced into a full mid-trip reroute when warming weather sharply raised avalanche risk, testing the team's judgement and adaptability in real time.
