First Draughts: Poetry & Spoken Word Monthly at Hop Hideout

First Draughts: We’re bringing back our regular monthly poetry and spoken word night here at Hop Hideout. 🍺🎤 Introducing: First Draughts Whether you’re a seasoned wordsmith or someone who’s been scribbling in a journal and waiting for the right moment to share, this is for you. First Draughts is all about community, craft (beer and verse!), and creating a space that is genuinely open, friendly, and supportive. No judgment—just good vibes and great lines. The Details 📍 • Where: Hop Hideout • Guest Host: tbc How to Get Involved 🎟️ Want the mic? 🎤 Open mic slots are available now. To secure your spot on stage, slide into the DMs of @HopHideout Or send an email (contact on our Instagram). Whether it’s a poem, spoken word, a short story, or a rhythmic rant, we want to hear it. Want to listen? 🍻 Audience tickets are FREE, but space is limited! Please grab your ticket via Eventbrite (here) so we can keep track of numbers. We've also added a donation option if you feel you would like to support. Any donations raised will go to the event itself, for example, in the future we'd like to book a headline slot and make that paid. Come for the poetry, stay for the pours. Let’s make this First Draught a memorable one.
