Who says you have to wait until Saturday night to have a proper party? We’re beyond excited to bring you the very first RISE & RAVE! A brand-new morning dance experience in the heart of Chesterfield, bringing together music, movement, nostalgia and good people. We’re kicking things off with a bang, and we’d love you to be part of where it all begins! Awake & Liberate are taking over Bottle & Thyme at 7:30 a.m. and turning it into a dance floor! Think your favourite old-school bangers, Ibiza classics, feel-good beats, songs you know every word to, a live DJ, live percussion and a whole room full of people who just want to dance. We’ll be taking you right back to your youth with the music, memories and dance floor anthems that shaped your best nights out. No late nights. No sore heads. No complicated dance routines. Just music, movement, laughter and a ridiculously good way to start your weekend. Come sleepy. Leave buzzing. WHAT TO EXPECT 🎶 A proper dance party — just earlier An hour of uplifting music with our live DJ, spinning everything from old-school classics and Ibiza anthems to singalong favourites and the kind of beats that make it impossible to stand still. Expect the tracks that take you straight back to your youth — the songs that remind you of school discos, first nights out, summer holidays, packed dance floors and the best memories with your friends. Dance like you’re back in your favourite club. Dance like you’re at an Ibiza pool party. Dance like nobody’s watching. Dance like you’re in your kitchen making dinner. There are no steps to learn and no right way to move. 🥁 Live music, big energy Alongside our DJ, expect live percussion, unexpected sounds and a few musical surprises woven into the experience. We’re bringing the energy of a night out into the joy of a morning together. 💃 Come exactly as you are Still half asleep? Perfect. Want to wear your comfiest joggers? Go for it. Fancy getting your festival glitter out at 7 a.m.? We fully support this decision. Pyjamas, activewear, sequins, trainers — whatever makes you feel good. No dress code. No judgement. No performance. Just a room full of real people having a really good time. 🌅 Start your day differently We’ll ease into the morning with a playful warm-up, build the energy through music and dancing, then gently wind things down before you head into the rest of your day. Because sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is stop taking everything so seriously and have some fun. ☕ Dance first. Coffee afterwards. When the music finishes, the morning doesn’t have to! Your ticket includes a hot drink of your choice, so stick around, take a seat, meet somebody new or catch up with your mates. And if all that dancing has worked up an appetite, you’ll also receive a 15% off voucher for food at Bottle & Thyme if you fancy staying for breakfast afterwards. You could have a whole night out’s worth of fun before most people have even got dressed. COMING ALONE? COME ANYWAY. Seriously. You don’t need a dance partner, a friendship group or an ounce of rhythm. Come on your own, bring your best mate, drag your partner out of bed or gather the whole gang. We’re creating a space where everyone can feel welcome. Different ages. Different backgrounds. Different dance moves. One dance floor. All adults (16+), all bodies, all abilities welcome. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US We’re Amy and Lorna, the women behind Awake & Liberate. We believe life is meant to be lived, not just survived. And while a lot of our work explores somatics, sound, connection and personal growth, we also believe something very simple: Joy matters. Play matters. Connection matters. And you don’t need an excuse to dance. Rise & Rave is our invitation to bring a little more of all of that into everyday life. No alcohol required. No special occasion needed. Just show up, turn up the music and remember how good it feels to be alive.
