Come and celebrate the release of Tiny Sacred Gaps, the new album from Sheffield-based drummer and composer Sarah Heneghan. A meeting point between contemporary jazz, folk, minimalism and post-rock, the album explores the small gap between what happens to us and how we respond — a space increasingly squeezed out by the world around us. A chance to pause, notice, and choose rather than simply react. Built around lyrical flugelhorn melodies (Charlotte Keeffe), gently patterned piano (Ben Gaunt) and highly textural drumming (Sarah Heneghan), the music evokes landscapes, long train journeys, and changing coast and countryside. The trio performs the album live at Jeff’s House, a beautiful Mondrian-themed mansion with an intimate setting. Welsh musician Phoebe Niamh is an experimental harpist based in Sheffield. Surrounded by land and sea during her childhood by the North Wales coastline, Phoebe’s sonic palette draws on the influence of nature. Phoebe's debut solo EP Serendipity is a collection of harp improvisations with electronics. Creating dreamy, pattern-based soundscapes shaped by ambient music, shoegaze and minimalism, Phoebe fuses her harp, kalimba and FX pedals to enchant live audiences and listeners. Her music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and The Lot Radio. Phoebe’s collaborative projects include harp and cello duo meraki, inter-arts project TYWYN and improvisatory ensemble Emergence Collective.
