Smoove & Turrell – The Singles Tour

The story of Smoove & Turrell began in the North East of England with a group of working-class lads and a shared passion for soul. Their newfound northern soul style quickly gained a rapturous response, leading to the formation of a full live band and the release of their debut album Antique Soul on Jalapeno Records. Championing their sound was fellow soul head Craig Charles, whose support on The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show helped launch the band onto national radio, earning BBC Radio 2 playlists and regular spins on 6 Music. Blending northern soul and funk with electronica, rock, pop, disco and jazz, Smoove & Turrell have built a loyal fanbase through their blistering live shows. 2026 sees the band continue their extensive UK and European touring schedule. Joining them are SOUL 45 DJs, Mark James and Disgo Dan, who have championed the 7” vinyl format in Southampton and across the South for over 10 years. Their diverse sets have taken them to clubs in New York and Los Angeles, playing alongside Roy Ayers, Soul II Soul, Craig Charles and Norman Jay. Celebrating soul, funk, reggae and disco, from forgotten gems to stone cold classics, expect an intimate dancefloor experience driven by the warmth and richness of 45 r.p.m. vinyl.
