Annual General Meeting and presentation by Mattie O'Callaghan on her Gold Medal winning show garden at RHS Sandringham in July 2026 Itinerary: 13:30-14:10 Arrival 14:10 Welcome by EGT Chair Ashley Cooke 14:15 Presentation by Mattie O’Callaghan on her Gold Award winning show garden at RHS Sandringham in July 2026: "Growing with Many Hands" was inspired by the valuable work gardeners do to care for our green spaces. In a time of climate change, gardeners are on the ground experiencing changes first hand and are able to adapt to these changes. Mattie will explain how the project involved bringing together climate-resilient planting with habitat piles for biodiversity. The garden was made as if the gardeners have just left for their tea break. Tools poked out through the flowers and cups of coffee were laid on the tea tables, with seed packets ready to sow. Plants were supplied by Beth Chatto Gardens, where Mattie is a trainee. EGT contributed a donation to the garden’s installation. 15:00 Tea 15:30 AGM Directions by car: Take the A12 to Junction 16, B1007 exit to Galleywood/Billericay, following the signs to Stock/B1007.
