Blank Slate: Miniature Worlds and Curious Creatures

Spark your creativity and curiosity - Join us for our next session of Blank Slate! We invite you to join us for this November’s Blank Slate Workshop: Miniature Worlds and Curious Creatures. For Ages 13 to 16 only! Led by miniature maker and pewtersmith Jacob Adams, explore traditional miniature-making and the creation of weird and wonderful creatures by incorporating found natural objects. What stories do natural materials carry? If they could speak, what would they say? Drawing inspiration from the Thames Estuary, Essex Woodlands, Folklore, and medieval imagery, learn the artist’s techniques of traditional miniature sculpting! About Blank Slate: Blank Slate is our monthly group for ages 13 to 16, bringing you something fresh, fun, and inspiring on the last Thursday of every month 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Our mission is to create a space where you can unleash your creativity through workshops, talks, tours, and outings to other art spaces and galleries. You’ll get to meet and hang out with professional artists and creatives, gaining inspiration and insight into the art world.
