FREE EVENT: Live music from ANTONÍ with pianist Einar Stray

Poetic folk songwriting with cinematic arrangements from Berlin based musician Antoni with Norwegian composer and pianist Einar Stray. An intimate live performance of voice, synth, guitar and immersive electronic textures. Part of Theatreship's guest nights - where contemporary artists take over the ship to highlight the stories they want to tell. Here's some more info from them: ANTONÍ combines poetic folk songwriting with cinematic arrangements, blending contemporary folk, chamber pop, jazz and subtle electronic textures. Touring the UK as a duo with Norwegian composer and pianist Einar Stray (Einar Stray Orchestra, Mildfire), she presents an intimate live set for voice, guitar, piano and synthesizers. Together they reinterpret songs from her debut album Holding Tight Lightly in a stripped-back yet immersive performance full of warmth, atmosphere and sonic detail. Everyone is welcome to come early and enjoy the space, however we recommend arriving for the event at 6:30pm at the latest to settle in and get your seats. Theatreship is committed to broadening access to the arts - we know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. Due to the historic nature of the ship, we’re sorry to say there is not currently step-free access into the theatre space.
