London Muses Poetry Open Mic Featuring The Fire Poet

Stickynotepoet and The Fire Poet present London Muses, a new monthly poetry open mic at The Coach and Horses. Join London Muses for our first ever poetry open mic at the iconic Coach & Horses featuring the revelatory words of the Fire Poet. London Muses is the brainchild of The Fire Poet (Philip Wells) and stickynotepoet (Leila Lawrence): a monthly poetry open mic created for poets and poetry lovers alike. With its rich poetic history, from the Romantic poets to more recent Bohemian literary culture, The Coach & Horses provides the perfect setting for an evening exploring poetry's power. Poets of all styles, ages, backgrounds and experience levels are warmly invited to take the mic, listen, share and connect. This isn’t a night about perfect performances. It’s about building community, taking creative risks and experimenting freely with poetry. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, writing your first poem, or simply someone who loves listening to poetry, London Muses has a place for you. Open mic sign-up from 6:45pm with the event kicking off at 7pm. "A good poem changes the shape of the universe" - Dylan Thomas
