Make your own Sock Monkey

Recycle your old socks by turning them into unique sock monkey plushies! Bring any old socks and bring them to life in this workshop by turning them into sock plushies! We will provide all materials and guidance but welcome you to bring your own accessories if you wish, for example buttons or ribbons for your plushie. We will be focusing on sock monkeys for the workshop but it is possible to create other creatures if you would like to follow your own tutorial seperate from the workshop. As this is a bigger project than our usual workshops, the event is 3 hours. Although there are no organised breaks, you are welcome to take them at any point. We won't have drinks to offer including water so encourage you to bring your own. This workshop is for all levels but it would help if you have some familiarity or experience with the basics of sewing, as our guidance will focus more on the structure of the sock monkey rather than the sewing aspect. Our early bird tickets are £10 and valid until one week before (September 19th), any tickets bought within 7 days of the event are at the full price of £14. Please note that the venue is only accessible by stairs! Refunds are only valid up to 7 days before the event.
