This free workshop from Professor Fionn Stevenson will help you understand how to cheaply and effectively make your home more comfortable. Does your home feel too hot in summer or too cold in winter? This free workshop will help you understand how to cheaply and effectively make your home more comfortable, including: cross and stack ventilation, thermal mass, passive solar gain and insulation. The vital interaction of these four factors is often poorly understood. Professor Fionn Stevenson will focus on Victorian tenements, interwar housing and post war housing built before the 1980s. She has spent over 30 years examining these types of homes to help people make them work better.
